I have been collecting autographs of celebrities whose work I enjoy for well over 10 years, so I have amassed quite a collection (over 1,000 at last count). The collection keeps growing because every year, through their work, I find new celebrities whose autograph I'd like to have. Although each autograph is part of a collection, each and every one is my favorite.
One of the reasons anyone collects anything is to be able to show off the items in his/her collection. This page serves as the method through which I am displaying the autographed photos and memorabilia that I have in my collection - well, at least the ones of the Ghostbusters celebrities. I'd like to publically thank all of the celebrities who took the time to personally autograph an item and send it to me. I appreciate it more then you'll ever know.
Not all of the autographs on this page are authentic. While some are, others are either fake, pre-printed, auto-penned, or rubber-stamped. I have tried to determine the authenticity of each autograph I have, and thus have put together a rating system as outlined in the legend below.
| In-Person | I, a member of my immediate family, or a really close friend, saw the celebrity sign the item. This is a 100% authentic autograph. |
| Dealer | I bought this autograph from a reputable autograph dealer, so it is authentic. (It would be blatently illegal for the dealer to sell fake autographed items, so these are deemed to be 100% authentic.) |
| Real | This autograph either matches an authentic example of the celebrity autograph, or is otherwise believed to be authentic. |
| Real $ | I bought this autograph from the celebrity himself/herself (or from someone whom the celebrity gave permission to sell his/her autograph), so it is authentic. (It would be blatently illegal for the celebrity to sell fake autographed items, so these are deemed to be 100% authentic.) |
| Real ? | This autograph was signed by a person (as opposed to a "machine"), but I'm not sure if it was actually signed by the celebrity. In most cases, I will give an autograph this rating if I don't have an authentic example to compare it to. |
| Real # | I can't tell if this autograph was signed by a person or a "machine." |
| Auto-Pen | This autograph was created using a mechanical device that "signs" flat objects such as photos, cards, letters, etc. A writing instrument is inserted into the mechanical armature and the device "signs" a name using a preprogrammed pattern (matrix) that simulates the person's real signature. |
| Pre-Print | A photographic copy of an original signed photograph. The autograph is part of the photo. Sometimes a personalization ("To Paul") will be added to make it appear to be authentic. |
| Rubber Stamp | Simply a signature applied with a rubber stamp. |
| Fake | Someone other than the celebrity signed the item. I don't really like to use this rating, as I prefer to give my autographs the benefit of the doubt, but some of the ones that I rate "Real?" would most likely deserve this rating. (also known as "Secretarial" and "Forgery") |
Although I have created this ratings system, the scans presented here are not meant to be used to verify the authenticity of any autographs that you may have (though you can probably use some of them for that purpose).

USING PHOTOS: Please do not use any of the autograph scans displayed on this page on your website, or anywhere else. I strongly encourage you to write to the celebrity (if he/she is still alive) to obtain your own autographed photo, which you can scan in and put on your website. I might make a rare exception if you E-Mail me FIRST explaining what photo you want to use, why you want to use it, where you want to use it, etc. PLEASE DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO ANY OF THE PHOTOS ON THIS PAGE! Thanks.
All images are very large and of the higest quality, so they may take a few seconds longer to download than your average images.
