WEBPAGES

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

WEBSITES

  • ECTO-135
Movie images, audio, even RGB pics all about the Ectomobile.

  • Ecto-Flight's
Fan art and writings by Marie "Ectogal" Torres Gerkin and others, plus lots of RGB book & magazine and other photos too.

  • The Ecto-Plasmic Archive
Lots of images, audio, and video from both movies; plus lots of GB2 Behind The Scenes and GB music video screen caps; and video of the GB1 deleted scenes, trailers, and featurettes from the DVD.

  • GhostBlunders (alt url)
A site dedicated to exposing the mistakes made in the first movie. It also has a section with many GB references in tv shows and movies (videos and stills provided to illustrate them), and some great GB videos (the music videos from GB2, GB2 Making Of, and some other stuff not commonly seen online).

  • The Ghostbusters: Detroit Collection Of Original Ghostbusters Memorabilia
An amazing collection of GB screen-used props, memorabilia, and other items owned by Greg G. Justis. Although I have not personally seen (as in, with my own two eyes) his collection, he has provided me with a photo showing some of the items in one of the rooms of his house. It's quite an impressive collection and well worth a look.

  • Ghostbusters Ecto-Web
This is one web you'd WANT to get tangled in. Besides being the definative place for information about every GB videogame that's ever been created, the Ecto-Web is also the place to find some great fan artwork, unique coverage of the GB films, an array of real media files (some you won't find elsewhere), GB International-style, and much more.

  • Ghostbusters Fan Forum (alt url)
A site with content written/created by the fans, for the fans. This is the definative place for fan fiction and artwork (I even have a story published here). It's also the only place to find the official pages for GB actresses Tara Charendoff and Robin Navlyt. Among the truckload of other stuff that can be found here are pages written by the EGB characters -- Eduardo, Kylie, Garrett, and Janine.

  • The Ghostbusters Fictional Homepage
What if the Ghostbusters was a real business? What would their real business website look like? Well, it would look something like this site.

  • Ghostbusters Headquarters
Typically updated on a weekly basis, GBHQ brings some of the latest news on the GB front -- with a healthy dose of GB3 news and rumors, in tow. In it's archives you'll find some fan art, Universal Studios Spooktacular information, interviews with GB crew members, and more.

  • Ghostbusters.Net
This site gives Spook Central a run for it's money in the sheer amount of multimedia content it contains. You'll find tons of Real Media video and audio from the films and television series (including whole episodes), as well as loads of still photos. Of course, multimedia isn't the only thing you'll find here. It's also the home of the first GB Auction service, the Occult Reference Net, and the Ghostbusters ICQ Group.

  • Ghostbusters: New York City
Another site that shows what the Ghostbusters' website would look like if their business was real.

  • Ghostbusters Omnibus Timeline (alt url #1, #2)
The most comprehensive guide to the Ghostbusters Universe ever created! This comprehensive study attempts to reconcile the movies, the Real Ghostbusters, and even Extreme Ghostbusters into one linear saga.

  • Ghostbusters Training Central
So, you wanna be a Ghostbuster, huh? Well, let Dr. Egon Spengler teach you all about the business.

  • The Grid (alt url)
A medium-size site with photos and audio from the films and tv series, and some other little goodies. It's kind of like a lite version of Spook Central, though that's not necessarily a bad thing.

  • PKE Online (old site) (blog)
A Swedish fan site (in English and Swedish) run by Maria Wåhlin, with movie photos, artwork and fan fiction by Maria, RGB profiles, RGB Swedish voice actor profiles, Swedish RGB Magazine covers, and more. This site has been around since the good old days, then it disappeared for a while, and now it's back. There is absolutely no way to contact Maria. No e-mail address is listed on her site (old e-mail addresses don't work), and you have to be a "team member" to post a comment to her blog. So I have no way to tell her about errors I found on her site, or to ask her to restore my transcriber's credit to the two movies scripts she has on her site (she probably found them on the net without my credit, as many of the scripts sites stole them from me and removed the credit).

  • Proton Charging
This is the definitive source for the very latest in GB news. It also has some original interviews with GB cast and crew, as well as some background info and multimedia on *all* GB films and shows -- including Filmation's.

  • The River Of Slime
A Ghostbusters II fan site. Normally this would be on the GB2 Outside Links page/section, but I needed some space to address an issue I have with this site. All of the images on his Making Of and Deleted Scenes pages came from my site, but he didn't give credit on those pages for the images, and since he used so many, he should have. His e-mail address is invalid, so I can't contact him to tell him to add credit. If anyone knows of his current address, let me know.

  • Stay Puft Corporation
If the company that made Stay Puft Marshmallows really existed, this is what their company website would look like.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROPS

  • Ecto1a.com - Liquid Reality Studios site about their Ecto-1A replica.
  • GhostBuster FanMade Prop Parts - A list of people/places that make or have parts for sale that will help you in making your prop replicas.
  • Ghostbusters Project, The - Sean Bishop's (aka Venkman71) site about his adventures building props and two Ecto-1 replicas. Lots of photos and prop plans. Plus details of his infamous trip in full costume with an Ecto-1 replica to famous New York GB locations.
  • Ghostbusters Prop Archive - The plans needed to built props, and references photos of the real equipment at Planet Hollywood restaurants across the country.
  • eraser99's Ghostbusters Prop Page (hasn't been updated since 1999)

FRANCHISES

A franchise is the same as live-action role playing (LARP). It's a group of people who've built props and uniforms, then get all dressed up and pretend to be real ghostbusters, going on cases, busting ghosts, and the such.

All franchise sites are located in the United States, except where otherwise noted in the franchise's name or by me. Some franchise sites contain non-franchise goodies, like movie multimedia and other stuff. So even if you're not in franchises, it's still worth your while to check them out. You never know what you may find.
