Fun Facts
- According to Michael Reaves, the writer of the episode, this episode was supposed to have been called "Hector the Happy Ghost," but they ran into legal problems with the name and Victor was the closest they could come to matching the lip flaps.
- The "Encyclopedia of Animated Cartoons" by Jeff Lenburg gives the impression that this episode was originally titled "Slimer Goes For Broke." However, I spoke with Michael Reaves and he says: "As far as I remember my original title was "Hector"; I don't remember ever using the other title. Possibly they ran into trouble with the whole "Happy Ghost" concept, and just slapped a generic title on it."
- Peter says, "I want to get back in time to watch 'The Bob Newhart Show'." Lorenzo Music, the voice of Peter, was the creator of "The Bob Newhart Show."
