Dot-TK-O!

For some reason, sometime within the past 24 hours, the .tk folks decided to take back the free SpookCentral.tk domain that I registered with them several years ago. I have no idea why, as they didn't have the courtesy to e-mail me to let me know that they're taking it back, much less give me a reason why!

I just logged into my .tk account and it shows me as having NO domains. When I try to re-register the SpookCentral.tk domain, it says that it's already taken. WTF? To make matters worse, I can find no way to e-mail them for an answer. The support e-mail address I had no longer works, and I can only find a UK mailing address on their site.

This really burns my biscuits, as I know that it was working yesterday because I checked it before changing my display name over at MySpace and uploading a few new profile icons with that url in it. Now I have to go back over to MySpace and change everything back. Like I really have time for this annoying crap.

So, if you're using SpookCentral.tk to link to Spook Central, please change it to one of the following IMMEDIATELY:

I received an e-mail today from Xavier Inverarity of Dot TK Support. In short, it was an error on their end that caused my domain to be canceled. Everything is back to full working order now. So you can pretty much disregard the message above. You can still use SpookCentral.tk to link to Spook Central, though if you want to use any of the urls listed above, you can do that too. It's nice to have choices, isn't it? Now pardon me while I go back over to MySpace and change everything back over to SpookCentral.tk!
