Ghostbusters Porn (UPDATED)

Permalink Jan. 24, 2010 at 2:00 AM , Categories: Miscellaneous
GHOSTBUSTERS PORN! Now that I have your attention... and hopefully lots of Google hits. With a title like that, it should come as no surprise that this post will be about adult subject matter. Although all human nudity has been censored or obscured where possible or necessary (anything that shows nudity will be labeled as such), and you will not find any uncensored hardcore sexual imagery involving real people in this post (only drawings), this is NOT A POST FOR THE KIDDIES. Since outside links may contain uncensored hardcore content, you are advised to only click on links pointing to pages outside of this site if you are willing to possibly view uncensored adult material. By clicking on the link to view this entire post (or reading any further), you hereby state to me that you wish to read about and view such content and will not hold me libel for any damages that may occur to your psyche or anything else if you proceed any further.

[UPDATE - 2/12/2010 - Add the "Cuntbusters" mock movie poster, mention of Kym Herrin, and a link to more naughty Ghostbusters drawings. - FURTHER UPDATES WILL BE MENTIONED AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE.]

Ghostbusters has had a connection to the adult film industry since Day 1. Well, technically since late 1983 when principal photography on the movie was taking place. One of the extras standing outside the firehouse when the containment unit explodes is none other than adult film legend Ron Jeremy. You can see him in the film (widescreen version only) when Ray and Winston pull up in Ecto-1. Click on the headshot to view the small annotated screen shot cribbed from Proton Charging, the full size non-annotated screen shot can be found on Ron's page here on Spook Central.

Although Ron didn't star in any Ghostbusters-related porn productions, the fine folks at Hustler magazine were kind enough to put him in one anyway. The Cuntbusters mock movie poster below was published in the November 1984 issue of Hustler magazine. As this was put together only a few months after the movie came out, it is probably one of the first No Ghost logo mods. Ron was "cast" in the Egon role, with John Holmes as Peter (in the middle), and John Leslie as Ray (on the right). Again, this is a mock movie poster. There is no actual film named Cuntbusters, especially not with these three stars in it. Major thanks to Chris Stewart from Proton Charging for sending me this image, which he got as a gift from Cinema Sewer.

Ron isn't the only porn star in a Ghostbusters production. Child star Jaimee Foxworth, who was one of the Kiddie Funk Singers (kids chorus) on the track "Movie Star" off of The Real Ghostbusters soundtrack album, would later go on to star in a handful of adult films under the names Crave and Monet. Unlike Ron Jeremy, who made his name in the adult film industry, Jaimee regrets her time in the business, even going on The Oprah Winfrey Show in January 2006 to proclaim it as "the biggest mistake of her life".

Family Matters (circa 1989)

Adult Jaimee (circa 2000)

Let me take a second to make a quick mention of Playboy Playmate Kymberly Herrin (Miss March 1981) who played the dream ghost in Ghostbusters. I really don't consider Playboy to be pornography - at least not in the sense of everything else mentioned in this article - but for the sake of completedness, I'll give her this brief mention before I move on.

The adult film industry has a long history of making porn parodies of popular mainstream media, be it movies, television shows, video games, or even musical acts. Heck, one of the big trends in the business right now is making parodies of popular television shows using the actual names of the characters and calling it Not __________ XXX (insert real mainstream title in the blank). Horny Ghostbusters fans have not one, but TWO, Ghostbusters porn parodies to keep themselves entertained with.

Proving that people in Pornoland are always quick to get their product out, the first "parody" came out the same year the original film came out. Entitled Sexbusters! (1984), this 80-minute feature stars Karen Summers as Lola and Candi as Lana. (Sadly, Ron Jeremy is not in the film, though he did star in the probably non-Ghostbusters-related Rear Busters in 1989.) The DVD case describes the plot as such:
Here's a classic spoof of one of the most popular films of all time! The Sexbusters are a team of hot and horny ladies on-call to save relationships that are lacking in lust. Wives in need of sexual attention call the Sexbusters, and they're on the scene in no time to get their man's 'sextoplasm' flowing! This is an irresistible sex-flick you can't miss!
As you can surmise from that description, as well as the Sexbusters motto - "Why bust your butt for sex, when we will do it for you." - they're nothing more than on-call prostitutes/sex therapists. Of course, they need to change their name ASAP. A "sexbuster" is someone who OPPOSES sex, not someone that provides it. Even their logo is ANTI-sex. Could this actually be the first and only adult film with a subliminal anti-porn agenda? Anyway, if you're expecting an actual Ghostbusters parody, you'll be sorely disappointed. The Ghostbusters knock-off theme, the parody logo, two line references ("Who am I going to call?" and "He jizzed me"), and a television commercial are the only real Ghostbusters connections there are. Nothing else brings to mind Ghostbusters, especially not the crappy brown 1980s van that the two female Sexbusters drive around in (would it have killed them to find something that at least remotely looked like the Ecto-1?). I can't fault the producers as this was back before porn was a multi-million dollar business. I do give the movie producers credit for being ahead of the time with the "running in slow-motion bouncing boobs" shot that would become a staple on Baywatch about ten years later - and for the self-aware jokes about it. Thankfully, the DVD producers had the common sense to get Mrs. No Ghost to model for them, so they could put a better and more appropriate parody logo on the DVD cover.

The DVD, released in 2008 from Gourmet Video, can be purchased from Adult DVD Marketplace. However, please be advised that the DVD was VERY poorly produced. You can read up on the DVD, as well as find more images and video (and the theme song audio), on the Ghostbusters Connections page, in the Spoofs section.

Just in time for the 25th anniversary of both Ghostbusters and Sexbusters! we get the second porn parody: Nutbusters (2009) (aka Nut Busters XXX). Not to be confused with a 2006 adult movie series with the same name, this Muffia production stars Shyla Stylez as the Gatekeeper and Jordan Ash as the Keymaster in scene 1; and Gianna Michaels as Egoo Spooge, Rachel Roxxx as Wankman, and Voodoo as Goozer in scene 2. Shonna is Spanks, the female Nutbuster who walks away after the fight that precedes scene 2. Yes, this one-hour "movie" is comprised of only two scenes. No story, no plot, and no credits - just two parody scenes and that's it! Half the cast listed on the DVD cover are from the bonus scenes included to pad out the DVD runtime (the three bonus scenes together are almost double the length of the one-hour feature presentation). Anyway, even though this isn't a movie in any real sense of the word (let's just call it a "video"), it IS a more accurate Ghostbusters parody. Well, more accurate than Sexbusters! at least. The DVD case describes the "plot" as such:
Gizz Clortho aka Keymaster of Goozer in a possessed state finds his way to the rooftop where Zuul the Gate Keeper is waiting for him. She lifts up her dress and bends over, he rips her clothes off and begins to follow through with his destiny. The Nut Busters then walk onto the roof and fire their beams at Goozer who attempts to fight them off. Eventually Egoo and Wankman jump on top of Goozer, tearing him apart with their raw sexuality.
Although it would have been nice to have a whole movie with an actual plot and more than two scenes, I applaud the producers of this video for making an effort at a Ghostbusters porn parody with paraphernalia that actually resembles characters and props used in Ghostbusters. First you have the parody names, in true porn style. Then you have situations and characters that are close to Ghostbusters, but not quite exact copies. The "Louis" character is a good look-alike, if only they would have had him shave his mustache (Louis never had one) and keep his colander hat on while he was screwing "Dana". I could forgive "Dana's" orange dress because it looks close enough to what was in Ghostbusters (where it was red), but I can't forgive "Dana" for not having brown hair like Sigourney Weaver. Why didn't they take one of the brunettes from scene 2 and put her in place of the blonde Shyla Stylez? But I do award Brownie Points for the great use of some Ghostbusters one-liners at the start of the scene.

Scene 2 is more of a let-down for a number of reasons. The scene starts off with a fight between three female Nutbusters and a naked male "Gozer" who looks like he'd fit in better in a gay porno (or a nude version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show). They fight him while wearing the "Sexy Ghostbusters" outfit and decent-looking (at least they tried) proton packs with dildos as the guns (a nice touch for a porn parody). After the fight, one of the ladies disappears for no reason whatsoever. Then you get the sex scene, which would have been more "epic" with two, three, or even four men and one lady. And that, of course, would set up for a "cross the streams" money shot(s). Instead we get an average real cumshot, followed by a shot of an explosion atop the building, and the two female Nutbusters covered in a ton of fake ejaculate/ectoplasm.

The movie does not contain any variations on the Ghostbusters theme song, though the DVD main menu contains a short sample that sounds like they're saying "Yachtbusters!". There IS a knock-off logo in the movie. Actually, there are three different versions of the anti-penis Nutbuster logo. One with a white condom and veiny testicles that appears on the uniforms and DVD cover, another with a green condom and hairy testicles that appears on the video's title screen, and one that looks like a stoned ghost with boobs that appears on the Naked Movie website.

More images can be found on the Ghostbusters Connections page, in the Spoofs section. The DVD can be purchased from Adult DVD Marketplace. If you'd like to know more about the DVD, check out Don Houston's review.

VIDEOS CONTAIN NUDITY WHERE NOTED

The problem with both of these Ghostbusters porn parodies is that neither of them comes close to the potential that exists in a Ghostbusters porn parody. If there was ever any film that is best suited for a porn parody, it's Ghostbusters. Watch the film with a dirty mind, and the sex scenes just write themselves! I've had ideas running through my head for years (which I've been meaning to write up as a fan fiction script). If anyone out there in the adult film industry wants to pay me, I'll write an EPIC Ghostbusters porn parody. Of course, the producers would have to be willing to make a long film with many sex and non-sex scenes - like the four-hour, 11 scene, Adam & Eve/Zero Tolerance 2008 collaboration Roller Dollz (a film so jam-packed that it's split across two discs - even on Blu-Ray!). And they'd also have to be willing to reach out to the Ghostbusters fan community for authentic-looking props (including an Ecto-1 replica). I'm sure there would be many fans willing to lend their homemade props, or even offer their services to make some for the film. They can run it by the lawyers as to what props/etc. they'd need to change (besides the logo, obviously), but they could probably slap a Not The Ghostbusters XXX title on it (with a disclaimer), and be fine. Though I've always felt that a more appropriate title for a parody would be Ghost Lusters, which actually is the name of an all-girl feature from 1990 (also known as The Girls Are Ghostlusters) about a ghost that haunts the set of an all-girl adult movie.

They could even film it in the actual Los Angeles firehouse that was used for the interiors of Ghostbusters headquarters in both movies. It's not like an adult movie hasn't been filmed there before. Yes, that leads in to yet another Ghostbusters/Porn connection. Flashpoint (1998), one of the first big budget, multi-studio collaborations (Adam & Eve and Wicked) in adult film history, was filmed inside the Ghostbusters' Los Angeles firehouse. The movie is about the lives of the firefighters at station #23 (the same number as the one that used to occupy the firehouse in real-life), and in true Ghostbusters fashion, the exteriors of the station are filmed at a complete different location. Unlike Ghostbusters, the exterior doesn't match the interior at all. However, the "suicidal jumper" scene was filmed on top of the firehouse, even though it was supposed to take place at a location far away from Station #23 headquarters.

In case you're wondering, YES, people screw in the firehouse...several times, too. The first sex scene of the movie features adult film legend Jenna Jameson and Mickey G. on a bench on the right side of the main garage/lobby area. This is followed by a threesome with adult film legend Jill Kelly, Johnni Black, and Steve Drake in an upstairs rec room. Later on in the movie we get the final firehouse sex scene with Missy and Jonathan Morgan knocking boots on a firetruck in the main garage/lobby area. These may not be the people some Ghostbusters fans want to see get some action in the firehouse, but at least some people got their fires extinguished in the building.

The movie was filmed in September 1997 (the re-released DVD states October 1997) and was originally released in 1998 under the title Flashpoint on a dual-sided DVD, which can be purchased from Adult DVD Marketplace or Amazon (sellers at Amazon may be selling an edited version without the sex scenes - e-mail them first). Ten years later it was re-edited and re-released as a 4-disc set under the new title Flashpoint X, which can be purchased from Adult DVD Marketplace (available in regular and deluxe editions, the latter including a collectible booklet, pack of Flashpoint X matches, and a special 3-D box). More images, including behind the scenes pictures, as well as comments from director Brad Armstrong about the firehouse, can be found on the Los Angeles Firehouse page.

In closing I present the final Ghostbusters/Porn connection (assuming that there aren't more that I don't know of). About ten years ago a dear friend of mine, who shall remain nameless because they may not want to be named, gave me some rather explicit Ghostbusters fan drawings. I've kept them secret all these years, but this is an appropriate time to share them with whomever desires to see such things. Some of these are rather tame, but some are VERY explicit, with a couple bordering on Hentai (Kylie in the pumpkin patch). I've organized the images from tame to explicit. Thumbnails are censored, but clicking on them will present you with the full size uncensored images. DON'T CLICK ON ANY OF THE THUMBNAILS BELOW UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE THE UNCENSORED EXPLICIT DRAWINGS! You can find more images on the Fan Artwork page.

Sean Berry has found even MORE explicit Ghostbusters fan drawings, this time featuring the later season Real Ghostbusters Janine (the one with the round green glasses) getting it on with Egon, Peter, and even Slimer! If you're interested, you can check them out on the Cartoon Reality website.

Special thanks to Ghostbusters News for first alerting me to Nutbusters, Proton Charging for breaking the news back in 2005 of Ron Jeremy in Ghostbusters, my unnamed dear friend for the risque Ghostbusters fan art, and the unknown person who uploaded an untitled video file of Jenna Jameson's sex scene in Flashpoint ten years ago that made me look for that film because those green and white walls in the background sure looked familiar.

[UPDATE - 7/14/2010]
On Fri. June 11th & Sat. June 12th, 2010, Epic Win Burlesque held a Ghostbusters-themed show at The Tank Theater in New York City. The show starred Boo Bess the Baroness as Janine, Bonnie Voy'age as Slimer, Victoria Privates as Dana Barrett as Zuul, Miss Mary Cyn as Gozer, Lefty Lucy as Stay Puft, Magdalena Fox as Sugar Skull/Day of the Dead, and BB Heart as Japanese Horror Ghost. It was hosted by Nelson Lugo and Schaffer The Darklord. Below are some links to photos and videos from the show. I didn't get to see the show in person, but from looking at the photos and video, it looked rather stupid. I could have come up with something better. However, the gals portraying Janine and Gozer nailed the look of their characters perfectly and were the clear highlights of the show.

I got a heads up that Toby, one of the world famous Suicide Girls, has submitted a new photo-set and the theme is something familiar. What? You thought all Ghostbusters fans worked inside an office 24-7, like me?

…and she sleeps above the covers. FOUR FEET above the covers.

Now, here’s the trick – this is a big kids link and by extention is NSFW. So, if you’re at your job or too young to know what a Suicide Girl is, you shouldn’t follow this link (or any link in this post, for that matter.) And if you happen to, it’s got nothing to do with me. I am not my reader’s keeper. That said, check this out…

I totally forgot all about that Proton Charging Suicide Girls post. However, it's kinda moot as PC's "warning page", which contains the link to the photo set, is no longer online.

I did find the link to the photo set, but unless you pay to join the set, there's nothing to see there. Not even any preview thumbnails.

The only previews are these two that somebody posted to PC's comments: No Nudity and Nudity.

This is just dumb

This is what you post and report on?

Don - Yes, because someone has to have the balls to report on it. No one forced you to click on the link to view the post. It was appropriately labeled. You KNEW what you were gonna read about when you chose to click on the link, and yet you still chose to click through.

If you feel more at home reading about which ghostbuster's jumpsuit legs should be tucked into his boots and which shouldn't, there are places you can go to read about crap like that.

I write about things that may be of interest to fans from the full spectrum of the fandom. I don't dumb down my content for the little babies out there.

Next time, if you don't have something positive to say, don't say anything at all.

I was just reminded of this sorta GB/porn connection from the South Park episode "Over Logging":

Randy: [covered in semen] Oh..ah..there was...there was a ghost! The..Ectoplasm. Did you see the ghost? Ran through here and slimed me.

The absolute funniest part about this whole article is the fact that if I would have wrote it, there'd be a line around the block of people looking to voice their hatred for me and the things I do. But Paul Rudoff does it and the stuff gets coverage on the major websites.

Boy you Ghostbusters Fans sure do love your double standards!

Bo

I wouldn't necessarily say that there's a double standard.

Chris from Proton Charging didn't cover it on the site, though he did mention it on his Twitter feed, where he's also mentioned both Sexbusters and Nutbusters at various times over the course of 2009. That's fine. I appreciate the Twitter mention, though I can understand why he didn't want to bring attention to the seedier side of Ghostbusters on his site :-)

AJ over at Ghostbusters Fans removed it from his site's News feed. I can understand that he didn't want to have a link to the content.

And as you can see from the comments left here by AJ and a few others, not everyone in the community enjoyed this article - and felt the unnecessary need to say so. It's not like they didn't know what they were gonna see when they clicked on the link entitled "Ghostbusters Porn".

Jason over at GB News is the only one (that I know of) that actually posted something specifically about this article on his site. Though I do give thanks to the other websites who display the Spook Central feed on their sites and didn't remove the "Ghostbusters Porn" link from it.

Paul, I apologize.

I recently said AJ was a good kid, I now retract that statement. This here was an AMAZING display of douche, perpetrated on a well respected member of the community, Over something completely stupid. There wasn't any need for ANY of this at all.

You know what's gonna be funny? When somebody gets fed up with AJ and lays an unholy ass-whipping on him at one of his little dress-up conventions. That will be spectacular.

I'll pay to see the video of it.

seeing an adult version of ghostbusters
well it's no surprise to say the least
because other blockbusting greats like
star trek among others became adult films
because as they say popular the film gets
more it becomes an adult film .
