TO ALL, PRE-GB REFERENCE
In the film "The Out Of Towners" (1970), Jack Lemmon & Sandy Dennis go inside the church next door to the Shandor Building to pray. When they're outside, we get to briefly see some of the Shandor Building.
FYI: This movie has been remade with Steve Martin & Goldie Hawn (in the Lemmon & Dennis roles). As of March 1998, it was being filmed. So, it will probably come out at the end of the year. I wonder if they refilmed in ALL of the EXACT same locations. There's a slight possibility that the Shandor Building and the church next door, will be in the remake.
TO SLIMER1509 & RYAN LECLAIR
Slimer1509, I don't mind at all that you reprinted that info from Netsolo's site. As long as you give him credit, and you don't copy EVERY page on his site, then I see nothing wrong with it. But just to fully give Netsolo his credit, you might want to include a link to his site, next time.
Ryan, calm down ... please
TO STEVE SOROKA, RE: NEW RGB, WHEN???
I guess you didn't read the info on Spook Central carefully.
Here's EXACTLY what's on Spook Central:
"According to an article on PR Newswire (dated 1-13-98), "The Family Channel" will be renamed "Fox Family Channel" and will start airing RGB on Saturday August 15, 1998."
As for how much of it will be shown, I can only assume that the entire series will be shown. FFC wouldn't have bought the rights, and put it in their cartoon block, if they were just gonna air it for a very brief time period.
TO RYAN LECLAIR, RE: FOX FAMILY CHANNEL STARTS AT AN EARLIER DATE?!?!?
Sounds like a screw-up in your TV Guide. All indications are that FFC will start on 8-15-98. As for the listing, there is a film called "The Ditchdigger's Daughters," so the listing you read was probably meant to be that film.
TO TEEN GHOSTBUSTERS
RE: GHOSTBUSTERS DREAM
Cool dreams. That GB3 one sounds like a REAL "dream" (meaning it probably won't come true :-( ).
RE: WHERE DID YOU GUYS HEAR THAT GB3 WAS COMING OUT SUMMER 1999?
There have been various rumors concerning GB3's release date. Some say 1998 (which we NOW know to be false), others say Summer 1999, and then there are those that say Summer 2000. From a logistical point of view, I tend to believe the Summer 1999 date, because that would be the ideal date for Sony to release the film (especially if it deals with something happening at the birth of the new Millenium). Many people think that it can't be released in Summer 1999, when it's still being written. Depending on how fast they wrote it, it MOST CERTAINLY can be done. Remember, GB1 started filming in the latter quarter of 1983 (September ?), and was completed (just barely) and released in June (?) 1984.
