We all know he was one of the executive producers for "The Real Ghostbusters", as it was just as much his baby as it was Dan's. But recently I've witnessed his newest venture into animated series-dom: "Mummies Alive"!!
It comes on here at about 6:30am, on the Fox network (Ch. 35 here, or 5 if you have cable). And it's about this young boy who is discovered to be, by blood relations, an Egyptian prince (This is of course set in the 90's)!!! And since he's the only aire (sp?) to the throne, all of the nasty bad-guys want to ursurp his place as potenial ruler. That's where the "Mummies Alive" come in. They are a band of super-strong ancient mummies, who have the powers equvelent of characters from, lets say the marvel, or DC comic universes. And surprisingly enough they can pass as humans when not in battle mode....Decent show, drawn in the "anime" style!! Ivan is an executive producer, as is Joe Medjuck (I believe) who as we all know, also worked on the GB films.......Check it out!
Finally, has anyone caught Ivan's new directorial excursion, "Seven Days & Seven Nights", with Harrison Ford? Any good? Worth watching? Give me your thoughts...
