Sega Master System Version

Box

Ghostbusters Sega Master System Box (15K)I used to have this Cartridge before my mother decided to throw everything Early Master System titles are not famous for the excellent quality of their boxes , for both the manufacturing and design. The container is a plastic booklet containing the Cartridge on the deeper side and the Instruction on the other. The cart was a black box shaped with a tight sticker with the title of the game written in white on a dark red background ,the same red used on the console itself.. The Instruction manual was in Black and white (actually Blue and white to be precise)All the box was plastified to protect the cover.
As for this particular cover , well it seems to have been made in 2 minutes. The logo is not even centered and the copyrights (the tiny text you see) is placed almost randomly. One particularity is the "THE Mega Cartridge label which indicate that this has been one of the first Megabits cartridge on the MS and on the market itself since Sega has been the first to reach that bar, this mean that the capacity of the cartridge is up to 128 Kbytes (8 bit= 1 byte 1Megabit = 1024x1024 bits) . Latest Master System games reached 4Mbits of size (512Kbytes)

Taken from the:

More apparent, and much easier to spot, are box color variations:

Bomber Raid Black Activision
Cyborg Hunter Black Activision
Galaxy Force Grey Activison
Ghostbusters * Black Activision
Rampage Red Activision

* Also appears in the common White variation.

While I never saw it I suppose it's very similar to the Genesis Box
